.env

The .env file will be used to specify the general settings of the components used by the SeaTicket-docker instance and the environment variables required by each component.

SeaTicket components authenticate to SeaDB with HTTP Basic authentication. JWT_PRIVATE_KEY configures the SeaDB service itself and is not a SeaDB API access token. For production deployments, set SEADB_USERNAME and SEADB_PASSWORD to a dedicated SeaDB administrator account instead of reusing the first team administrator credentials.

On a new deployment, SeaTicket automatically creates the first team, its team administrator, and the administrator's initial workspace. This account is a normal SeaTicket user and team administrator, not a system administrator. Existing teams are never changed when the container restarts.

SeaSearch Settings

By default, SeaSearch creates its first account from INIT_SEATICKET_TEAM_ADMIN_EMAIL and INIT_SEATICKET_TEAM_ADMIN_PASSWORD. Set both INIT_SS_ADMIN_USER and INIT_SS_ADMIN_PASSWORD to use a separate SeaSearch account instead.
